Coming Soon

See the world through a creative lens. Photography and design cover composition, lighting, post-processing, and visual communication — from capturing images to creating polished graphic designs.

This course builds from camera fundamentals through Lightroom editing to Photoshop compositing and graphic design principles.

Start Here — Learning Roadmap

A suggested path from zero to confident photographer and visual designer. Follow these steps in order:

  1. Understand the exposure triangle — Learn how aperture, shutter speed, and ISO interact to control light, depth of field, and motion blur
  2. Master composition rules — Study the rule of thirds, leading lines, framing, symmetry, negative space, and when to break the rules
  3. Shoot in manual mode — Take full control of your camera; practice reading light meters and adjusting exposure for different scenes
  4. Learn natural lighting — Understand golden hour, blue hour, direction of light, hard vs soft light, and how to use reflectors and diffusers
  5. Set up your editing workflow — Install darktable or Lightroom; learn importing, organizing, RAW processing, and basic adjustments (exposure, white balance, curves)
  6. Develop your post-processing skills — Color correction, local adjustments, HSL sliders, tone curves, and developing a consistent editing style
  7. Study advanced lighting — Off-camera flash, studio strobes, light modifiers (softboxes, umbrellas, grids), and multi-light setups
  8. Learn photo compositing — GIMP or Photoshop layers, masks, selections, retouching, and non-destructive editing workflows
  9. Explore graphic design principles — Typography, color theory, hierarchy, grid systems, and layout design using Figma or Inkscape
  10. Build your portfolio — Curate your best work, develop a consistent style, create an online portfolio, and learn to present your work professionally
